Everybody wants to be hale and healthy and free from the health issues. People try many things to be healthy without knowing that sometimes they could get serious health issues like cancer even from their work spots also. The shocking information is it is now brought out by American Cancer Society report that a person could get cancer from their work place also. The point here is exposure to different types of radiation and chemicals exposure, too much sunlight and disruption of circadian rhythms could affect on the health of a person.
People must try to avoid these jobs as these jobs might lead to cancer also.
Construction worker job:
We see many people around us involved in various construction works. The information is these people might get affected by skin cancer. The skin of the construction workers gets damaged after being exposed to sunlight for longer time periods. One type of cancer, mesothelioma occurs in the construction workers and it is due to inhalation of asbestos.
Rubber manufacturing industry:
Those who are working in rubber industry please be careful. There is more possibility to get stomach, lung and bladder cancers. The shocking piece of news is workers in this industry are more prone to leukaemias and lymphomas and this occurs due to absorption of cancer causing chemicals through skin.
Agriculture jobs:
Women who are working in the agriculture field must be very careful as they have got 35 percent higher risk of getting cancer than compared to women not working in agriculture field. Over exposure to pesticides, fertilizers etc could result in several cancers.
Hairstylist jobs:
It must be noted that hair stylists get exposed to various chemicals present in hair dyes/ hair colours etc. In the long run it could end up in bladder or larynx or lung cancers in them.
Mechanics job:
This is also one type of work that could result in cancer. It is said that those who are working with car engines etc are more prone to risk of getting leukaemia. Not only that, mesothelioma could also occur in those persons handling asbestos, petroleum etc.
