Prospects for rain in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the next 24 hours

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects for medium rains in the next 24 hours in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. In a notification regarding this, it is mentioned that due to the phenomenon of thermal convective rain, there are prospects for mild to medium rains in 1 or 2 places in the next 24 hours in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
There are prospects for heavy rains in the coastal areas in the next 48 hours.
As regards the Chennai Metro City, the sky will generally be cloudy. There are prospects for light rains in 1 or 2 places. The maximum temperature will be 30 Degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 24 Degrees Celsius.
