Event about alternative job careers held at MOP Vaishnava College

Recently, an event about other alternative careers was held at the famous MOP Vaishnava College. It was organised by media management department of this college and about 1000 students made their presence felt in this event.
The important piece of information is the second and third day of this event saw the presence of many radio jockeys and food bloggers expressing their views. They openly spoke about their experiences in their fields. It must be taken into account that some of the topics discussed were about the viability of taking the job of a photographer r a career in the fashion world etc. The role of social media in shaping a personality was also brought to light at the event.
It was mentioned by a member of the organising committee of the event, Ankita Doshi, that the event was organised as a part of their course and each year the event had different themes. She explained how this year there was a need to make people know about various job opportunities in other fields. One of the speakers, RJ Toshiba, expressed her opinion. She spoke about how a person must be honest and how they should not compromise on certain things.
The event also saw the presence of popular radio jockeys such as Abhishek Raja, Vaidhya, Syed and food blogger Ekta Kothari etc. Important piece of information is at the event there was a panel discussion about the social media and how it could be used constructively. It must be noted that the ideal way was to have a stable job and pursuing passion through freelancing. This was according to the panellists. The panellists advised about investing in wildlife photography on the side after taking a job as a photographer to an aspiring wildlife photographer when she asked about making money out of her passion.
