Christmas celebrations in Ela Green School in Maraimalai Nagar near Chennai is superb

Just 2 days now to go for Christmas and the celebrations have already started in the Ela Green School. It is known that this school is a private co-educational independent school having students from playschool to class 8. In the primary year`s programme, this school provides students with IB or International Baccalaureate curriculum.
On Saturday, this Ela Green School located at Maraimalai Nagar near Chennai had its second eco-friendly Christmas carnival. This grabbed the eyeballs of many. The lane that leads to this school had flags of various colours. This school is present in lush green farmlands is well known.
The entrance had an arrangement of plastic recycled bottles and it was made to appear like a Christmas tree. The metal frame of concentric circles had bottles hung and these bottles swayed in the wind. There was a shamiana that was set up nearby the school and from there loud sounds of kids echoed.
Under the shamiana, stalls were present and these were set up by the parents, students and by private establishments and the kids between ages 3 to 15 were hopping between stalls.
It must be taken into account that all were dressed up in white and red and some of them even had Santa Claus caps also. By implementing the last-minute fixes and by instructing the teachers, the school principal, Sharmila Mohan was very busy.
She revealed that the school had 20 staffs and 20 teachers and all were like a family. The superb piece of information is this school that is now two years old has been celebrating Christmas with carnival every year.
The carnival has become so popular now and many parents are taking part in the Christmas carnival of this school. Calls were received from many private vendors for setting up shops. This was also brought out by the school principal. For the fancy dress completion, parents have taken efforts to dress their kids like little angels, Joseph and Mary and many activities were lined up for the students. A magic show was conducted in this school and it caught the attention of many.
