TNPSC announcement: 23 examinations in 2020!

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) undertakes the responsibility for all selection and recruitment of candidates for all vacant posts in the various departments of the State Government of Tamil Nadu. It makes the schedule for the entire calendar year.
Every year, TNPSC releases this schedule in January. However, this year, it has released this examination time-table earlier.
According to the schedule, there are 23 examinations to be conducted from January to October 2020.
Group-1 examinations are scheduled in January 2020. Group-4 VAO (Village Administrative Officer) examinations are scheduled in September 2020.
Details:
- January: Examinations for Group-1, Agriculture Officer, Assistant Director (Horticulture), Officers and Assistant officers.
- February: Engineering-related examinations.March: Examinations related to Library and Information Departments, Fisheries Department, Analyst, and Treasurer in the Directorate of College Education.
- April: Examinations for Geomagnetism (Soil Study), Engineering, Statistics, and Assistant Distracter (Cooperatives-audit).
- May: Group-2 and Group-2A examinations.
- July: Examinations for Executive Officer Grade (Group-7, Group-7A, Group-8), Group-3, Assistant Director (Trade and Commerce), and Assistant Director or Manager (Archaeology).
- August: Examinations for the posts of Assistant Commissioner (Department of Labour).
- September: Examinations for Group-4, VAO, Industrial education in the Department of health.
- October: Examinations for Forestry Department Trainer (Group-6).
