Mobile ration shops launched

Officials of villages in Villupuram and Tirupur districts received the keys of mobile ration shops on June 20th from Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa. Ms. Jayalalithaa has inaugurated 3 mobile ration shops that will offer its products to the people of Villupuram’s Kilakkadu and Mottampatti mutli purpose socities and Tirupur district’s Ravanapuram primary agricultural cooperative society.
While inaugurating the vehicles that were procured at the cost of Rs. 38.36 lakhs, Ms. Jayalalithaa also launched the sale of tribal produce. These include products such as honey, millets, saamai, varagu and tamarind. According to reports, these products were procured by multi purpose cooperative socities and will be sold as branded products.
