Officials inspect the new Metro route Madhavaram-Taramani!

The officials undertook an inspection of the locations for the Railway Stations to be set up in the new Chennai Metro Rail section Madhavaram-Taramani.
In the 2nd Phase of the Chennai Metro Rail Project, 118.8 km of Metro Track is to be laid for Rs. 843 Crores in 3 corridors.
In the 1st Phase of this project, a 51.01 km track is to be laid linking Madhavaram-CMBT and Madhavaram-Taramani Link Road.
The activity of awarding works for the contractors is in progress. In this project, 30 Railway Stations are to be set up in the Madhavaram-Siruseri SIPCOT Metro Track between the Madhavaram-Taramani Link Road.
The initial phase of work is in progress. The activity of setting up iron temporary fences in the lands acquired for the project has commenced.
The Chennai Metro Rail Project officials and the Contractors undertook an inspection of the locations where railway stations are to be set up in the track in the Madhavaram-Taramani Link Road.
The officials inspected the locations where Railway Stations are to be set up in Thousand Lights, Royappettai, and Radhakrishnan Road and checked the measurements taken after the survey.
