Special counters to be operated by income tax department

Special counters for three days to help salaried people to file returns are to be operated by The Income Tax department. These counters will operate from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. from July 29 to July 31 at Aayakar Bhawan, Nungambakkam, Tambaram and Kanchipuram. To utilize the services, the assesses can download the IT return forms from www.incometaxindia.gov.in. The ITR-I should be in color format only.
They are requested to mention their bank account no, IFSC code, PAN/TAN and mobile number in their return. The e-filing is mandatory for assesses with taxable income in excess of Rs.5 lakhs
