Aani Thirumanjanam Darisanam - Temple car festival at Chidambaram Natarajar Temple!!

Just a couple of days back, on the occasion of Aanithirumanjam darisanam, temple car festival or Ther Thiruvizha was held at the Chidambaram Natarajar Temple. At the Aayiramkal mandapam at this temple, latcharchanai was held that night for Nataramurthya dn Sivakamasundari ambal.
Before the sunrise yesterday morning, mahabishekam was held in front of Aayiramkal mandapam for Swami and Ambal. Abishekam was carried out using milk, honey, vibuthi, panchamirtham, coconut water or ilaneer and sandal or sandhanam etc. This was witnessed by more than 1000 devotees.
At the Aayiramkal mandapam from 6am to 10am, thiruabarananam or jewel decoration took place for Natarajamurthy and Sivagami ambal . At chitsabhai, utsava aacharya performed a secret puja also. Then,along the 4 streets, panchamoorthy were taken and this was watched by many devotees. The devotees had a superb darshan.
It is important to mention here that at 2:15 pm in the afternoon Natarajamurthy and Sivakami ambal danced 3 times back and forth at the dancepandhal and gave aanithirumanchana darshan to many devotees. This was followed by a chitsabha entry. Today, the festival will come to a close with the procession of Panchamurthy in muthu pallakku or pearl palanquin.
