Chennai Metro Water: Nemmeli Desalination Plant Maintenance Sparks Water Supply Warning!

Chennai Metro Water announces maintenance work on the main water pumps at the Nemmeli Sea Water Desalination Plant. Scheduled from 15th March 2024, 2:00 PM to 16th March 2024, 2:00 AM, this maintenance will affect water supply to areas 11, 12, 13, and 14. Residents are advised to store sufficient drinking water as a precautionary measure.
For those in areas without water supply connections or experiencing low pressure, free drinking water will be provided via daily truck deliveries without interruption. Additionally, residents with emergency water needs can register for water truck deliveries through the website https://cmwssb.tn.gov.in.
