Tollgate charges up in 2 important tollgates in Chennai Suburban areas!
A notification has been released regarding upward revision of tollgate charges at the tollgates located in Paranur and Attur.
The tollgate charges have been revised upwards at the Paranur Tollgate by Rs.5/- to Rs. 10/- for a 1-way trip or return trip. Tollgate charges for the local private vehicles for monthly gate-pass has been increased by up to Rs. 10/-.
In a similar way, the tollgate charges at Attur have also been revised for the 1-way trip or return trip by up to Rs. 5/- to Rs. 20/-.
Monthly Tollgate charges for making up to 50 1-way trips have been increased from Rs. 60/- to Rs. 190/-.
NOTE THAT THESE REVISED TOLLGATE CHARGES WILL BE EFFECTIVE FROM THE 1ST OF APRIL.
The tollgate charges had already been revised at 5 tollgates in Tamil Nadu to be implemented from the 1st of April. As such, the National Highway Commission has now released an order for upward revision of tollgate charges in Paranur and Attur Toll Gates located in Chennai Metro City suburban areas.
