Great Spectacle!! The most anticipated event of Lord Kallazhagar entering Vaigai River in Madurai Today!!
Tuesday, 23rd of April would be a very special day for the devotees. From 5:50am to 6:10 am, the most anticipated event of Lord Kallazhagar entering River Vaigai would be conducted today.
On Monday 22nd April evening, amidst the presence of many devotees, the ethir sevai was performed. Point is that the devotees welcomed the arrival of Lord Kallazhagar at Tallakulam Perumal Temple in Madurai. On Sunday evening, Kallazhagar seated on the palanquin started his journey from the sanctum sanctorum of Alagar temple and offered darshan at several mandagapadis.
There would be 7lakhs to 10lakhs devotees who would be witnessing river entry ritual of Lord Kallazhagar. This was as per HR & CE officials and district administration. To witness this grand spectacle, many devotees from the neighbouring places in Madurai and from many places in TN have been coming to Madurai now.
