EPFO approves to pay Rs 1000/month to all pensioners

The proposal to avail the pensioners with thousand rupees as pension every month is recently approved by the trustees of retirement fund body EPFO. This is expected to benefit more than 28 lakh pensioners.
The central board of trustees, CBT had amended the EPF scheme, 1952 and increased the monthly wage from Rs 6500 to RS 15000. It is to be noted that in the present, workers are getting their basic pay together with DA.
