Chennai Metro Rail trial run in next two days

Chennaites can soon see the Metro train trial between Koyambedu and Ashok Nagar in the next couple of days.
Chennai Metro Rail sources said that the trial run would commence either of Friday or Saturday once the required infrastructure is in place.
Although the Metro rail did have its maiden trial run last month end, the proposed trial run could boost the efforts to meet the June-July deadline so that Chennaites can start enjoying 11km metro rail ride on elevated stretch between Koyambedu and St Thomas Mount.
Meanwhile, sources from the Metro Rail said that discussions are on with the state government over three proposed corridors, the routes of which are yet to be finalised.
