Model Metro train on display at Koyambedu Bus Station

A model Metro Train has been put up at Koyambedu bus station for public display. Model train will be opened in 2 days.
Metro Rail Project is being executed at the cost of Rs. 14,600 Crores in order to reduce the traffic congestion in Chennai.
The test run between Koyambedu and Anna Nagar last month. The public showed a lot of interest. Following this, the model train has been put up for display 42 trains with 4 coaches each will be in operation.
The coaches are being manufactured by the company Alstom from Brazil. 5 coached have been exported from Brazil and have reached Chennai. The balance are manufactured at the branch of Alstom, st up in Tada, Andhra Pradesh, and will be transported to Chennai.
Metro Train will be exactly as per the model on display at the entrance of Koyambedu bus station.
