Is your baby 6 months old, you could give these foods

Parenting is never an easy job. Babies are highly precious for the parents and taking care of babies involves lots of patience. Babies could get affected by the health issues easily as they do not have strong immunity.

Parents give solid foods to their babies after a certain period of time(6 months above) and it is revealed that this introduction of solid foods to the babies is a daunting task. It is important to give babies iron-rich foods. In the beginning, babies might eat just only small quantities of solid foods.

If the baby is 6 months old or more, then these foods could be given

Give eggs:

Many parents get confused about whether to give eggs to their 6-month-old babies or not. It must be noted that eggs are safe and healthy and there is no need to get confused. For the baby’s growth, intake of iron is important and egg yolk has got iron in plenty.

Give beans:

Non-heme or plant-based iron and protein is available in beans and babies must be given beans. The beans could be boiled, mashed and finally salt added.

Give lentils:

It is well known that lentils are loaded with protein, iron plus various nutrients. Babies could be given various types of lentils every day. Cooking the lentils for a time of 20 minutes and then serving in a bowl would be superb for the babies

Give peanut butter:

Many get allergy due to peanut. It is said that giving peanut butter at an early age could play a huge role in preventing peanut allergy. It is important not to give the whole peanut to the baby but peanut butter could be spread on the toast and this could be given. Important information is 100 gms of peanut has got 4.6 mg of iron in it.

Give banana:

After the baby has reached 6 months of age, it is good to give banana. It is known that banana is rich in minerals like magnesium, potassium, iron etc and banana would help in easy bowel movement in the babies. The banana could either be chopped or mashed and then given.
