Do you have the habit of eating food very fast then you could be in danger of getting few health issues.

Many of us eat food very fast due to various reasons such as to be on time for work, food being very delicious, eating race with siblings etc. It must be taken into account that whenever we consume foods we must chew the food properly and then only we must consume it.

It has been revealed by a study that when we consume food slowly we tend to consume fewer calories. Point to be noted is those who eat slowly would get certain benefits. It is believed that prolonged chewing of food could prevent diabetes etc in us.

Health issues that we could get when we eat food very fast are

Pain in the abdomen:
It is said that pain in the abdomen is a nightmare and people would feel terrible when they get this pain. This abdominal pain could be due to various reasons. Eating food very fast could also result in abdominal pain. It is worth mentioning here that by eating food very fast we could get poor digestion because higher amounts of food needs more efficient digestion. The body might not be prepared for this. Issues like gas or bloating results leading to abdominal pain.

Weight gain:
There are hormones that regulate our hunger and appetite. By eating food every fast, these hormones get disrupted. It must be noted that these hormones play an important role in signalling satiety. When hormones get disrupted, then feeling of being full is delayed. This could make us to over eat and finally we would gain lots of weight.

More risk of getting diabetes:
After eating foods, our blood sugar levels increases. The faster we eat the faster sugar enters into bloodstream .It is believed that the most damage from diabetes comes after meals because at that time the blood sugar levels are highest. Information is eating faster on regular basis gradually increases blood sugar and it might lead to diabetes.

Could lead to heart disease:
Many of us would be shocked to know that eating food very fast could also lead to heart disease in us. Body’s metabolism gets lowered when we eat fast and then good cholesterol gets reduced and bad cholesterol gets increased. We might get affected with issues like strokes and heart attack because the heart is put at risk of heart diseases.
