The popular private meteorologist Mr. Pradeep John has mentioned in his Twitter that it has become common for the NE monsoon to make their presence felt in the month of January.

Rains for 6 days from today across TN!!

Prospects for heavy rains for 2 days on the 30th and 31st of December in 4 districts including Thoothukkudi!
The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has issued a notification indicating the likelihood of heavy rains in four districts of the State of Tamil Nadu, including Thoothukkudi, on the 30th and 31st of December 2023.
