Practical Training Classes for 10th students to start from 2nd January
All the ‘Plus-2’ students who have take the science group will have to attend practical examinations. These practical exams are generally scheduled during the 1st week of February.

1.36 Crores - free textbooks – to be distributed on 2nd January in schools
The government has printed 1 crore 36 lakh text books to be distributed free to school students.The distribution is scheduled on 2nd January.

Distance Education exams from Dec. 28 onwards
The December 2013 examinations conducted by the Institute of Distance Education, University of Madras, for postgraduate and professional degree courses will begin on December 28.

Introduction of Barcode Answer Sheet – To Avoid Abuse
A new barcode system was introduced for the 10th and 12th answer sheet, in order to control the manipulation either by the students and the teachers.
