Lives of people in this world are not easy. Many people do tough risky jobs to make both ends meet. The Trackmen and keymen belonging to the railways department belong to this category. These men slog day in and day out on the railway tracks and help in the maintenance of these tracks and make sure that accidents are avoided. They also help in the smooth movement of the trains.
It must be noted that many trackmen and keymen lose their lives during their work because of the no alerts regarding the trains approaching them.
The good news that has come out now is smart gadgets would be provided to all the railway trackmen as well as keymen so that the blinking and buzzing sound from these gadgets would alert them from the approaching trains and finally make them safe.
To procure the ‘Rakshak protection system’ department of railways have directed zonal railways now and that is superb.
The smart gadgets is a digital receiver with LED indicator and buzzer present in that would make vibrating sounds when a train comes closer and these trackmen and keymen would be alerted. It is interesting to mention that this device could be fitted on the dresses of these railway workers.
Signals from the transmitter units fitted in the railway stations would be received by the digital receivers present on these trackmen, artisans etc. This device present on the dresses would alert the trackmen with LED display plus audible buzzer as soon as train leaves the last stop signal. It is also said that when the trains approach the last stop signal this LED display would do its work of alerting.
This device was also tested by the railway department people and the good news is no single death of a worker due to accident was reported and that is an amazing piece of information.
