World Hypertension Day 2018: Awareness Session on Hypertension and its Complications

A recent study by a leading publication conclude that one in three people in urban India suffer from hypertension or high blood pressure. In this context, on the occasion of World Hypertension Day 2018, CII Tamil Nadu in association with Young Indians, Chennai Chapter & Sapiens Health Foundation is organizing an awareness session with Dr Rajan Ravichandran, Chairman, Sapiens Health Foundation on the subject of Hypertension and its complications like Stroke, Heart Attack and Kidney Failure and the relationship between salt intake and Blood Pressure.
Also, a book titled ‘Salt & Hypertension’ will be released during the session and members will be encouraged to take a pledge “I will eat less salt".
