Jio Fiber FTTH Broadband commencing at a speed of 100 Mbps

Reliance Jio confirmed the launch of the high speed JioFiber FTTH broadband services offering on a speed of 100 Mbps initially in tier 1 cities list of the grouped categories.
During the company’s 40th Annual General Meeting Reliance Jio updated the development phase of the high speed FTTH broadband in selected cities. After several rumors about the launch of the broadband services since July, JioFiber finally coming to the doors of Mumbai, Kochi, Delhi and Chandigarh followed by the Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities in India. The connections and operations will be completed in the selected cities within the month of December.
The JioFiber provides up to 1.1TB free data per month with the high speed FTTH broadband options for both domestic and commercial categories. The launch date for the commercial roll out is finally confirmed said the official reports from Reliance Jio.
The main competitors for broadband services are ACT fibernet and Airtel. Even Hathaway Networks are giving exciting data plans to fight against big giants of the broadband market. Now the announcement of Reliance JioFiber made the market players to revise their plan and to offer more data with high speed capabilities.
Reliance Jio is targeting 100 million residential users opting to the new JioFiber broadband services. The stand-alone feature of the Jio’s high speed broadband is the Television services coupled along with the Internet provision planned for 30 major cities across the nation.
A Jio set-top-box connected to your Smart TV along with the 100 Mbps high speed data network through broadband services are the major unique selling point of Reliance competing against the current Internet Providers.
JioFiber is expected to offer Internet services on affordable prices much lower than other players of the broadband services in India. It provides 600 GB of data for Rs 500 and 1000 GB data for Rs 2000 at 100 Mbps per month.
