As many hospitals now are reserving oxygen beds for the Covid-19 patients, his father was not given hospital admission. He threw light about how he had to wait for the documents that are produced to confirm it as an emergency procedure for a non-Covid patient.
Director of Medical Services or DMS, Dr. S. Gurunathan expressed his thoughts and spoke about how the state health department had ordered that 50% of the hospital beds must be reserved for the Covid-19 patients and how all the elective procedures should be cancelled.
