BE CAREFUL!! THIRD COVID WAVE to affect the kids mostly

The first Covid-19 wave in 2020 created many issues for the people and many older people got affected mostly. Now, the second Covid-19 wave is going on and elders as well as kids have been affected. The news that has come out now that would be coming in some months is that the third Covid-19 wave would be affecting the kids mostly. This has been predicted by Dr. Ravi, virologist from NIMHANS, Bangalore. Now, Dr. Devi Shetty, cardiac surgeon and founder of Narayana Health, has cited the prediction made by Dr. Ravi.
It is now said that the Maharashtra government has created a task force to manage Coronavirus infected kids during the third wave. Kids would be the targeted in the third Covid-19wave and that would be due to mutation and the choice of host that virus tends to make. Point is that the Covid virus mutates and attacks as many new hosts as possible.
It was brought out by Dr Devi Shetty that the first Covid-19 infection wave targeted elders mostly and now in the second wave large numbers of young breadwinners are getting affected. She added that in the third wave kids would be affected mostly and that would be due to the fact that most adults would be vaccinated by the time the third wave occurs.
It has been mentioned that Pfizer vaccine has already got clearance for use for those starting at age of 16. Whenever high school students become eligible then they could get vaccinated. It is worthy to note here that both Pfizer as well as Moderna have finished enrolment of studies of kids aged 12 and above.
It must not be forgotten that on 5th May 2021 Health Canada approved Covid-19 vaccine for use in kids aged 12 to 15. Soon, the United States Food and Drug Administration followed suit. It is now expected that other nations would also follow. Later in 2021, Pfizer and Modera would be beginning studies in children of age 11 and below. It must be noted that at present across the globe the vaccines that are available are meant just for the adults.
