ICMR approves new equipment to be used for confirming corona infection in residence!

The Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) has permitted the usage of new equipment to detect coronavirus infection in the citizen’s residence itself!
The company, MyLab Discovery Solutions, located in Pune, Maharashtra, has invented new equipment which can detect the coronavirus infection in the citizen’s residence itself!
The company had applied to ICMR for using this e4quipment in India. The approval was given by ICMR yesterday (Wednesday, 19th May).
Subsequently, the Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) has released a detailed guideline regarding the equipment as to who can use it and how to use it!
ICMR has emphasised that this testing equipment can ONLY BE USED ON THOSE who have symptoms for coronavirus and the citizens who had been in close contact with them!
In case a ‘positive result’ is obtained after the checking in residence, there will be no need for an RT-PCR test for the concerned patient! However, if the results obtained are negative, the concerned citizens MUST IMMEDIATELY UNDERTAKE RT-PCR TEST!
A detailed and clear explanation has been given in the latest App developed for this! ICMR has also emphasised that citizens using this equipment must download an App for this purpose!
NOTE THAT THE RESULTS OF THE TEST CAN BE OBTAINED ONLY THROUGH THIS APP!
