As a citizen of TN, how would you react if there were no Covid cases at all in the near future in TN. Sound’s incredible isn’t it!!

It is now revealed that the government’s top most priority would be to make the state of Tamil Nadu a COvid-19 free state in the future. This would be made possible by ensuring proper as well as timely treatment to all the patients. For achieving this, zero delay wards would soon be established in the general hospitals or GH in Tamil Nadu.

Truth is that as a part of this initiative a 136 bed ward would be opened at the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital or RGGGH in Chennai.

The chief minister Mr. M.K. Stalin spoke about how even before he took over as the new CM of Tamil Nadu he was discussing with various officers and experts to control Covid-19 spread in TN.

He pointed out that on 2nd May when election results came out in favour of DMK party the experts and officials met him and there were discussions about the availability of Remdesivir.

Plans were made to procure enough stocks of this important drug. He threw light on how even before assuming the charge as CM officers were advised to open war rooms and post monitoring officers for all 9 zones in TN for sake of free treatment in private hospitals also.

Truth is that after assuming the charge as chief minister on 7th May Mr. Stalin was involved in the meeting between various ministers and officers for ensuring adequate oxygen supply in all the hospitals including private hospitals in Tamil Nadu. Point is that 22 ministers were sent to monitor 14 worst affected districts in Tamil Nadu. These ministers are now continuing with various Covid-19 prevention works in the districts.
