Superb news!! The fresh COVID cases go below 5000 now in Chennai

For the last 25 days, Chennai has been reporting more than 5000 Coronavirus positive cases every day. The superb piece of news is that yesterday after 25 days the daily Covid-19 count or fresh cases dropped below 5000. On Monday, as many as4985 tested positive for the deadly infection.
In the state of TN, a total of 34867 tested positive for Covid-19 infection. As many as404 persons passed away due to this infection. If Chennai witnessed a steep fall in the number of fresh cases Coimbatore saw a rise in the fresh cases yesterday. For the first time, the number of fresh Coronavirus cases went above 4000 in Coimbatore. In this district 4277 persons tested positive for the infection.
As many as 1899 cases were reported from Chengalpet and 1808 from Tiruppur. It is worthy to mention here that 6 other districts in TN like Erode, Madurai and Tiruvallur etc had more than 1000 fresh cases. In TN till now, the number of fresh cases stands at 1877211andundertreatment there are now as many as 301580 people in TN. In Chennai, the number of discharged cases exceeded fresh cases. Point is that in the last 24 hours 168194 samples have been tested. On Monday, as many as 92614 persons received vaccinations for Covid-19 infection.
