The fresh supply of stocks has made more people to take Covid-19 vaccination shots on Thursday across TN. Many waited patiently in long queues for the sake of vaccinations and it is said that in TN more than 3lakhs took vaccination yesterday. Point is that the majority who took vaccine jabs belonged to the 18 to 44 age category.
On Thursday, the district of Coimbatore had more fresh Covid-19 cases and more than 20000 took vaccinations yesterday. Truth is that 14991 in the age group 18 to 44 took vaccine shots in this district. More than 5 lakhs have been given vaccine shots in Coimbatore till now.
In the last 7 days, GCC vaccinated 1.55lakhs and at a daily average of more than 20000. In Chennai, a lesser number of people had got vaccinations until last week is known. In the district of Madurai, 12,904 in the age group 18 to 44 got vaccinated yesterday.
