Chennai Passport office makes a record 3.90 Lakh passports issued in a single calendar year!

Chennai Regional Passport office has created a record of issuing 3.90 Lakh passports in a single calendar year.
Chennai Regional Passport official, Mr. Senthil Pandian, informed that a special passport mela is being orgnaised for advocates and journalists. This is scheduled 2 months later.
A passport centre is to opened at Puducherry in 2 months.
This new office will be beneficial to applicants from the districts of Cuaddalore, Villupuram, and Pondicherry.
It is also expected that the e-passport system will be implemented shortly.
