For driving licences, changes in registrations etc just filling up of one application form is enough in TN

Many use their vehicles as their mode of transport to reach their places of destination is well known. These people often find it very difficult when they have to search for different application forms for various procedures.
This piece of news would bring huge happiness on the faces of many vehicle users now. The news that has come out now is beginning from 1st of April 2018 the vehicle users need not search for different application forms to apply for driving licences, to change vehicle registration particulars etc.
It is revealed that a common application form has been introduced by the state government so that the above mentioned procedures could be carried out in that application form itself. This was later confirmed by a senior official belonging to the state transport.
This senior official later spoke about how the above decision to have one common application form for all the procedures were made in line with the amendments made to the Motor Vehicle Act 1989 by the Union road transport ministry.
It is important to note that the new form or Form 2 has got as many as six options. These are apply for driving licence, learner’s licence, renew a licence plus options like new class of vehicle, change of vehicle registration addresses and name etc.
One important piece of information is the application form could be got from the sales counters present at the regional transport offices for free of cost. The application form could also be downloaded from the website belonging to the government.
