Vellore, Erode, Thiruvannamalai, Krishnagiri, Salem, Namkkal, Madurai, Kovai, Tiruppur, Dharmapuri, Nilgiris, Karur, Trichy, Dindigul,....and so on. Bangalore today will get very good rains.
The charts will tell why we will be getting thunderstorms. Its because of trough (wind discontinuity - meaning abrupt change in wind direction, u can all see broken winds in the interior Tamil Nadu) running right into interior Tamil Nadu from Karnatata. Some convergence is happening close to the North TN coast between tomorrow mid-night to early morning. If lucky, if damn damn lucky Chennai might get some rains atleast in the suburbs and outskirts after mid-night early morning period.
