RBI Rebukes Banks to Stuff Up: Windows XP Backing Ends

Subsequently, after following the report that, from 8 April,2014 Microsoft puts an end to its issuance of updates and pieces of bugs in its Windows XP operating system (OS), the Reserve Bank of India has warned the banks to rivet in instant measures to  employ suitable controls if their system plus their ATMs works on Windows XP.

In future if the renovations and scraps for bugs have been stopped, then the possibility of the strikes on the system based on the Windows XP OS will elevate. In such a case, the bank employees may struggle in defending such OS attacks in the dearth of the Microsoft support.

Over 34,000 public sector bank branches are at high peril; revealed based on the study carried out by the consulting and analytics firm Ascentius Consulting groups.

In the other hand, avail yourself of Windows XP in the system after 8 April, 2014 will bring in the users at the insecurity and execution risks.

After the cut-off date, Microsoft will not render any innovative security renovations, or online procedural content up-to-dates for the operating system.
