Tamil Nadu Police Department has planned to monitor the prominent political leaders’ campaigns by unmanned planes. The prominent leaders include Narendra Modi, L K Advani, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi, and Rahul Gandhi.
In Tamil Nadu, the elections
are scheduled to be completed in one day – 24th April.
Different alliances have been finalized by the various political parties. In a
couple of days, all prominent political leaders are set to start full-fledged
campaigns. While the different parties are working out their campaign strategy,
Tamil Nadu Police are deeply concerned with the security to be provided for the
leaders.
Attacks by terrorists
might be planned on prominent leaders like Narendra Modi, Advani, Manmohan
Singh, Sonia Gandhi, and Rahul Gandhi.Tamil Nadu Police has planned to provide
highest degree of security for this purpose.
This time, the
security will be more intensified and there is a plan to follow their campaigns
with unmanned planes.
The vigilance cameras
installed in the unmanned planes will help detect any suspected terrorist in
the crowd during the campaigns.
Tamil Nadu Police have
also sought the help from the army.
32 company army
personnel have already come to Tamil Nadu. They have discussed with the
election commission officials and are deployed in the transport checking &
campaign monitoring.
Additional 20 company
army personnel are to join in Tamil Nadu. A total of 17000 army personnel will
be deployed in Tamil Nadu during the election. They will be deployed in areas
where high tension prevails, and the relatively tenser polling booths.
