Midnight vehicle checks across the state

General elections are set to commence in Tamil Nadu on April 24. On account of this, the government has shown vigorous development in vehicle checking across the state. Election commission has ordered to keep track of over 18000 criminals in the state. Special vehicle checks were made day before yesterday in the mid night. During this, more than 365 individuals were arrested for several reasons. Additionally, over 65 individuals were arrested as they were drunk during driving. Cases were filed against all the arrested ones.
