Distribution of Applications for MBBS & BDS Courses from 14th May

Application forms for joining MBBS & BDS courses will be distributed from 14th May.
Applications will be distributed in all the 19 government medical colleges in Tamil Nadu and the government dental college from 14th May.
A government announcement on this news will be released on Sunday, 4th May.
The distribution of application form will be from 14th May to21st May.
Applications for Engineering courses will be distributed from 2nd May.+2 results will be declared on 9th May. Students who had chosen Maths-Physiscs-Chemistry as electives will apply for engineering courses. Students who had chosen Botany-zoology-Chemistry will apply for medical courses.
Anna University will distribute applications from 3rd May.
There are 2172 seats available for medical courses in 19 government medical colleges.
Actually, the total seats are 2555. 15% seats (383) are reserved for All India reservation. Balance 2172 seats are open for Tamil Nadu students.
The fees for government medical colleges is only Rs. 12,290/- inclusive of education fees of Rs. 4,000/-. These seats will be filled based on the 69% reservation. Counselling & consultation will be conducted at Kilpauk Medical College.
The government allotted 900 seats will be filled with the approval under MGR Medical University. 600 seats offered by private medical colleges & the 69%reservation will be filled on the basis of counselling.
There is only one application form common for both MBBS & BDS. Applicants needs to fill up this only.
Applicants who did not get a seat in the MBBS Course will be offered BDS course on the basis of ‘cut-off’ marks.
