Abduction threat for Popular Music Director Harris Jayaraj - A ransom of Rs. 20 Lakhs demanded!

3 people demanded a ransom of Rs. 20 Lakhs threatening to abduct the popular film music director Harris Jayaraj.
The police arrested 3 persons in this connection including Mr. Harris Jayaraj’s driver who demanded the ransom money of Rs. 20 Lakhs over the phone.
.Harris Jyaraj (41) resides in Chaudhary nagar, Valasaravakkam. His wife is Suma (36). They have 2 children.
Suma got a telephone call around 10 PM yesterday (12th May). The caller demanded Rs. 20 Lakhs immediately at the place detailed by them. Otherwise, her husband (Mr. Harris Jayaraj) and children will be abducted. Suma did not take it seriously. She got another call from the same person next morning asking whether the money is ready.
Immediately Suma informed Mr. H. Jayaraj about this. Mr. Harris Jayaraj promptly made a police complaint.
The police registered a case, formed 2 special squads searching for the kidnappers. They used the phone number to track the culprits. They found the number belonged to the region of Thirunelveli.
The police intensified the search. They traced the phone was used by Arunachalapandiyan (25) and advocate Muthukrishnan (33). The police arrested them and enquired. They told that they acted on information from the driver Thirumalai. He only wanted the threat & ransom call to be made. Thirumalai, driver for Mr. Harris Jayaraj, was arrested.
The police is on the look-out for another associate in this operation.
