In a proposal to put off students suicides on the day of the announcement of the SSLC results, executives of the 104 helpline services have been coiled up their activities with extra counselors on Friday.
The 104 helpline comprises of 3 counselors and one medical executive to instruct the students who buzz them to drizzle their torment and look for advice.
This helpline service has been initiated by state government during the period of December, 2013 at the time of the release of plus-two results. It has been handled by GVK EMRI.
At the time of the release of plus two results, the 104 helpline services received more than 103 calls from dejected students and parents anxious over squat scores and also from the students who wished to impart their bliss of holding high marks.
A vexed father from Krishnagiri district, buzzed up the 104 helpline service to grumble that his son, who failed in all main subjects with the exception of English and Tamil papers in plus two, was very deprived and say no to talk over phone.
