Engineering counseling from June 26

Anna University`s single window counselling for engineering courses will begin on June 26.The process will start with counseling for sportspersons from June 23 to 25, followed by admissions for differently-abled on June 26.About 1.75 lakh students have applied this year.
The random number and rank list will be published on June 11 and June 16. It has been planned to organise the counselling process for 5,000 students every day in eight batches. Each batch will be scheduled for 90 minutes with the first batch starting at 7.30am and the last at 6.00pm.
The delay in publishing of CBSE results delayed the counselling by a week. The date of submission of applications forms was rescheduled to May 27, keeping in mind the CBSE students who got their results on May 26.
The counselling will end on July 28. There are 2.05 lakh seats across 570 engineering colleges in TN. With 2,710 students scoring full marks in physics, 3,882 in mathematics and 1,693 in chemistry , many students with a cut-off score of 200 will take the first batch of seats in premier institutions.
