Cyclone Sign in the Arabian Sea: Chances of Rain Today

There is a chance of the conversion of low pressure region prevailed in the Arabian Sea to the cyclone, informed by the Regional Meteorological Research center.

On Sunday night, it has been recorded a low-level low pressure formation in the Arabian Sea. Presently, this low pressure level converted to the lower zone and thus placed at a distance of 600km from Mumbai.

Moreover, this low pressure will changed to deep low pressure zone and further transferred to cyclone. This cyclone is moving towards the northwest direction and reaches the Oman’s coastal region.

Owing to this low pressure levels, heavy monsoon will be expecting at Kerala and Karnataka States, stated the Meteorological research center. Also, TamilNadu will not be affected by this cyclone sign.

At the same time, as the low pressure zone region formed in the Arabian Sea has the potency to absorb moisture from the air, north TamilNadu receives wide spread rainfall.

Chances of Rainfall Today:

Chances of wide spread rainfall all over TamilNadu and Pondicherry on Wednesday. For Chennai will be presented with clear skies. Few places will receive rainfall.

AS per the Tuesday morning status in the Meteorological department, many districts including Thiruvallur, Vellore, Kanyakumari, Coimbatore, Nilagiri and Chennai receives widespread rainfall.
