Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation has informed that full & correct names of the subscribers must be entered while registering on-line.
A report on this issue has been released by the Collector of PF council Tambaram Region, Mr. Mathiazhagan:
The list of the PF subscribers account numbers was released by the minister for employees, employee welfare and employment opportunities on 30th June. This will facilitate to know the details of the PF account.
The details are available at the website: www.epfindia.gov.in
Many industries are using it. Some of the companies have registered the names of employees as given in their income-tax PAN Cards. It is found that some names do not match.
Hence, the companies/industries which register on-line should enter their full names (first & last names) of their employees. They should not use the PAN card details for this purpose.
For those employees whose names do not match, they have to send copies of their PAN Cards along with their e-mails.
The e-mail should be addressed to: olre@epfindia.gov.in
