Even if there are only 10 employees, PF facility must be incorporated: Central Government exploring modification of the PF laws

Central government is planning to reduce the minimum number of workers for PF Facility in any organisation.
Currently, the minimum number of employees for compulsory introduction of PF facility is 20. The government is planning to reduce this minimum 10 employees.
This was informed by the Vishnu deo Sai,State Minister for Employee Welfare in Rajya Sabha.
He informed that a good lot of employees stand to benefit by this modification.
It is understood that around 3 Crores employees will benefit with the move to allot unique account numbers for Provident Fund Subscribers.
