Director Ranjith next to his directional debut ‘Attakathi’ gave a worth watching film ‘Madras’ starring Karthi and Catherine Tresa. The movie is getting good appreciation from all over and is a big hit for the hero. It explains about exploitation of marginalized people by politicians. Apart from the hero, heroine and the main cast, a wall has played a major role which remains jelled in minds of audiences throughout the film.
As a sign of recognition for the immense work by director Ranjith, ‘Evidence’ a human rights organization based in Madhurai which fights against cases of suppressed people has come up to felicitate the flick. The event is planned to take place on 25th October in Madurai. Director Ranjith will receive the honors.
Speaking about the award, the director says he feels too honored for receiving the award from ‘Evidence’. He points the organization to be very important in uplifting the downtrodden. Ranjith looks very happy and rejoiced about the recognition his second film has fetched him.
