All India Bank strike today

The United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU), the umbrella organisation of nine trade unions, has called for a nationwide strike on today.
Banking operations across the country are expected to be affected due to a day-long strike by employees protesting against the proposed banking sector reforms.
All India Bank Employees Association Vishwas Utagi said. "Over 10 lakh employees will participate in the strike. All banking operations across the country will be impacted,"
Crucial banking arms such as clearing houses, forex departments, call money markets and the Reserve Bank offices too would remain closed, He added.
