Prospects of medium rain in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry

The Director of the Chennai Meteorological Centre, S. Balachandran, informed that there are prospects of medium rain in the next 24 hours in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
There is a cyclonic format in the upper layers of the atmosphere over the coastal Andhra area. Because of this, it has rained in a few places in Tamil Nadu in the last 24 hours.
As for the next 24 hours, it may rain in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. There are prospects of medium rain in Chennai city and the surrounding areas.
