The Indian Meteorological Research Centre has informed that there are strong prospects of heavy rains in the southern coastal areas of Tamil Nadu from 26th November to 28th November.
In an information related to the Northeast monsoon rainy season, a low-pressure zone formed and stabilised over the south-eat and the adjacent central-east part of the Bay of Bengal may start drifting in the west or south-west directions.
Due to this, there are prospects of heavy rains in the South-west coastal areas and the adjacent parts of Tamil Nadu from 26th November.
As regards the next 5 days, there are strong prospects of heavy rains in the southern coastal areas of Tamil Nadu from 26th November to 28th November.
It is further informed that there are prospects of medium to heavy rains in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry over the next 5 days.
