Chennai based Vandalur Zoo would be conducting summer camp for the students

Who doesn’t like visiting zoo? Apart from the fun involved, now visiting a popular zoo in Chennai would also be informative and useful for the students.

Frequented by many from all over Vandalur Zoo in Chennai is now making sensational news. The latest news that has emerged is this famous Vandalur Zoo or Arignar Anna Zoological Park would be conducting summer camp for the kids who are studying in class five and above.

The important piece of information is these kids would be able to learn about the wildlife captivity plus conservation of nature, animal species etc and that would be tremendous for these kids.

Deputy Director of this zoo Mrs Sudha Ramen spoke about how for the first time ever this popular zoo in Chennai would conduct summer camp for the kids. The zoo outreach programmes that were conducted before were simply superb.

This summer camp for the kids would be held on 11th April, 18th April plus on other dates like 25th April, 2nd May and 9th May and there would be 30 students in each batch. The starting time of this camp is 9am and the finishing time is 12:30pm in the afternoon.

It is superb to mention here that the kid who completes the four day programme would become ‘zoo ambassador’. It is revealed that the kid would be issued a document and he/she could have as many as ten free entries to the zoo in a year.

The deputy director later spoke about how the course kit that would be given to the students attending the summer camp and she also highlighted that parents would be responsible for the transport plus safety of their kids.

On 1st of April registration for the summer camp starts. For this the parents must visit the zoo website https://aazp.in/summercamp in order to book the slots and pay an amount of Rs 300.
