These days the salary a person gets after finishing CA course successfully is stupendous and many students opt for this course is a known fact.

The news that has come out now is Tamil Nadu government would be training students for this CA courses similar to the training students for NEET or JEE.

According to school education minister, Mr. K. A. The major objective of this MoU is to provide training for government as well as aided school students.

The state of Tamil Nadu would be the first ever in India to offer this training for the students and this training would be of time of 4 months. There would be as many as 10000 students and the training would be totally free and would be conducted in 70 centres in TN.

On the 1st of July 2018, this training programme for CA would begin to commemorate CA Day and ICAI’s ongoing platinum jubilee celebrations. This was confirmed by Mr. Ramaswamy belonging to ICAI. The good news is the chartered accountants would go to many rural centres to handle the CA classes plus the teachers would be made to know about the teaching methodologies.

Mr. Ramaswamy of ICAI later spoke about how this programme is aimed in integrating course with the schools. This programme would also throw light on the job opportunities that are available after successful completion of CA. The programme would also give tips to prepare the rural students for the tests. He then explained that amount of Rs 30000 to Rs 40000 would be sufficient to complete the course and after the completion of CA foundation course many top firms would pay the students a stipend amount of Rs 1000 to Rs 5000 per month. As per a senior official belonging to school education department, depending on the response from the students the ICAI might even extend the programme from the initial 4 months.

To improve the employability of the students, the government is putting great efforts now. Designing of curriculum for subjects like agriculture, horticulture, fashion technology, IT, hotel management etc for students would also be there.  During the weekends at the nearby industries, locality oriented training would be given to the students on the above mentioned subjects.
