Incessant rain with thunder lashes Chennai, heavy traffic congestion

As it has been a routine over the last few days, today (Friday, 13th July) evening also, heavy rain lashed the Chennai Metro City.
However, over the last few days, the rain was mild and was almost a pleasant shower. Today also, it has rained from 6.30 PM in several parts of the city.
Rain with thunder lashed the areas such as Guindy, Vadapalani, Valasaravakkam, Ramavaram, Saidapet, T. Nagar, Adyar, Velachery, Ekkaduthangal, Alwarpet, Madipakkam, and Chrompet.
With the pleasant breeze blowing it was a great cool atmosphere in the city. However, as the rain was persistent, there was a traffic congestion in the GST Road.
Nevertheless, the public has been delighted with the regular rain. At the same time, the students and office workers returning home were affected,
There have been heavy traffic congestions in the areas Kasi Theatre, Thiru. Vi.Ka. industrial estate, Udhayam Theatre, Vadapalani Kamala theatre, Semmozhi Poonga, M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women, Adyar, Indira Nagar, and Thuraipakkam.
