The counselling for admission for B. Ed. Course is scheduled to commence from tomorrow (Wednesday, 18th July) and will be in progress till 24th July.
There are over 500 colleges imparting education for academic teaching including 14 government colleges and 7 government-aided colleges functioning under the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University. These colleges offer 2-year courses for B. Ed. and M. Ed. In this, there are 1707 seats available in the 21 government and government-aided colleges.
A single-window counselling procedure is adapted on behalf of the government for admission to the above courses. This year’s counselling is being conducted by a committee headed by the Principal-in-charge Lady Willingdon College Of Education.
6073 candidates have qualified for participation in the counselling. The single-window counselling session is scheduled for these candidates from 18th July to 24th July. The secretary of the admission committee, has released this announcement. Accordingly, the counselling for the special category candidates is scheduled to be conducted tomorrow (Wednesday, 18th July).
On 19th July, counselling is scheduled for Tamil and English. On 20th July, the counselling is scheduled for Botany and Zoology. On 22nd July, the counselling is scheduled for Chemistry, Home Science, Economics, and Commerce. On 23rd July, the counselling is scheduled for Geography, Computer Science, and Mathematics. On 24th July, the counselling is scheduled for mathematics and Ancient Tribe candidates.
