Before the new cash option announcement people had to make the payment online on the official website for visiting Raj Bhavan. Now those who are interested to visit Raj Bhavan are allowed to pay cash for the entrance fees.
Raj Bhavan officials eased out the earlier rule of net banking and credit/debit card payments for visiting the place by enabling the direct cash payment method.
Those who opt to pay through online banking facility can go to the link
www.tnrajbhavan.gov.in and register the purpose. The fee for the tour is Rs 25 per person that can be paid directly during the visit.
The Presidential Guest House, The Darbar Hall, Horticultural Nursery, Lawns of Raj Bhavan - Deer Sight, Silver Jubilee Garden, Nakshatra Garden, Solar Power plants, and Forest Polo Ground drive are the eight locations covered for the touring inside Raj Bhavan.
The tour will be held in 2 batches, 4.30 p.m to 5.30 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m, with the help of two battery operated vehicles for the pick-up. The tour can accommodate up to 40 persons and towards the end of the tour visitors are offered tea and snacks. Also a greeting card signed by the Governor will be given for each visitors said one of the officials of Raj Bhavan.
